Riverside land

Just looking at old documentation for our house and my daughter found a map showing "right of access" to land on the river front.  I was just wondering how many other houses/people have similar "rights"  You may contact me Malcolm Gregory on mrg@live.co.uk

I would like to thank the many people who responded to my call for information on riverside access. I have been inundated with information (thank you to all who responded), so many that I am unable at the moment to respond to each. I currently have daughter and grand children staying. i will however over the next few weeks try a correlate all the info I have and issue a composite document. Unless there is anybody else who wishes to take on the challenge

Hi Malcolm, I live in Station Road and the deeds of our house has registered a right of access to launch though not moor at the river by Basmore Lane. Hope this helps.

Dear Malcolm, many Shiplake properties have a right of access and/or mooring rights on the triangle of land at the confluence of The Thames and The Lashbrook. Is that the one to which you are referring? If so, residents have previously got together to try make use of this but there are various complications in terms of access and usability.
