Attenborough's new film out Monday 28th at Regal

Sir David Attenborough’s new film is starting at the Regal Picturehouse in Henley this Monday 28^th.  The film is called “A Life on Our Planet”, a documentary about the climate emergency and a radical departure from Sir David’s previous work (even going further than the recent BBC “Extinction: The Facts”).  In it, he outlines how human beings are destroying the planet and therefore imminently threatening our own existence as a species. But he also tells us what to do to avert catastrophe, which includes (amongst other things) us becoming vegetarian, since the planet cannot support billions of meat eaters. Our town has declared a climate emergency, and it's great the Regal is showing this film to spread the word about the urgent situation.  If you are unable to make it out to the cinema, the film will be shown on Netflix from Sunday 4^th October.
