Just for information - The consultation for the application received by SODC to install 208 metres of pontoons alongside the river bank at Lashbrook farm by Val Wyatt marina Ltd., ends on the 16th November. Its certainly worth a look! 208 metres of mooring pontoons. What looks like 28 fingers protruding into the river, some doubled moored. Could that mean 56 boats with associated need to park for people accessing via the Shiplake bank? If each owner had friends joining them that could be 112 vehicles parked in Mill Lane/Mill Road. Within the application there is no provision for the storage or collection of waste or consideration of parking. We have a view and will be responding!
