Thames Farm - Hydrogeological Review
Morning all, TFAG and the Parish Council submitted a initial hydrogeological report prepared by JBA our engineers to SODC last night. The report and covering note submitting it are now displayed on the TFAG pages of the website at:
JBA Interim Hydrogeological Report Feb 2021
The covering note explains the key findings which are basically that there is nowhere near enough information known about the Thames Farm site for anyone to put forwards a plan to grout the site pre development nor produce a drainage strategy.
The aquifer beneath the site is at risk because of the depth of the faults in the ground, and the height of the water table.
One wonders why residents and parish councils have to go to these lengths!
