Vandalism on Northfield Avenue

On 3 occasions within the past week, a person or persons with more energy than intellect have decided to damage the boundary markers on the verges of a number of properties on Northfield Avenue between the junction of Manor Wood Gate and the end of the road.  I would just ask that residents be aware of the emerging problem and report anyone they see causing damage.  Worth also noting that some residents who have been impacted by these senseless acts of vandalism have redirected their security cameras.  So please warn anyone they suspect may be involved in such action, that video evidence of any further vandalism will be passed to the police.  Also advise them to go and get a more positive purpose in life.

I don't know if it is related but on several occasions recently whilst I have been out walking my dog late at night, groups of cars driven at extremely high speeds driven by very young drivers have suddenly driven out of Northfield Avenue into and up Station Road. It did cross my mind that I would be surprised if these drivers resided in the village, I got the feeling they were visiting the village but of course I could be wrong?
