What is in the NP & how does it affect me?

First, an apology should you have received 4 copies of yesterday's notification on the importance of SODC's NP Consultation to residents.

Via the forum we will be highlighting key aspects of the plan in the next 2 weeks prior to the closure of the Consultation. All the Consultation documents  are now on the NP Evidence page of our website. If you are considering changes to your property beyond 'permitted development rights' or wish to object to a planning application you should reference the proposed policies of Shiplake's NP. What are they? We suggest viewing the short APM Powerpoint presentation for a summary and note the references to developments being consistent with the characteristics of specific areas within the villages and the surrounding landscape. For policy details refer to the Neighbourhood Plan.

Importantly the Shiplake Plan is your plan based on extensive consultation with residents.
