Premature commencement of works at the retirement village
I asked SODC Planning for a statement, and this is their reply:
The Council has opened an enforcement investigation on this site which will be dealt with in accordance with its Enforcement Statement. For information this can be viewed in full on the Council’s website or via this link
The Developer has been advised that if works continue they are carried out entirely at their own risk.
Throughout the process of assessment and investigation the Council is not able to provide updates. The reasons for this are set out on page 7 of our Statement.
The Council will inform those parties that have reported activity on the site of the outcome of the investigation in due course.

Other than the sewage connection, which is permitted, the other works have been suspended.
