Yesterday's resounding referendum result, 96% in favour of adopting the Shiplake Villages Neighbourhood Plan, is wonderful news

Thanks go especially to the architect of the plan: David Pheasant who has led the process over many years. It has been no easy task and on behalf of Shiplake Parish Council and Shiplake residents I'd like to say a special thank you for all his many hours of dedicted work

Thanks also to all those who helped create the plan and to the 477 residents who voted yesterday
