Become a Shiplake Parish Councillor
If you've made a New Year's resolution to become more involved in our thriving Shiplake community, please consider applying (or nominating someone) to become a Shiplake Parish Councillor. We want to fill three vacancies over the coming months. Your Parish Council meets 11 times per year (second Monday 7pm at Memorial Hall). We are all volunteers, apolitical and from diverse backgrounds such as management consulting, marketing, law, IT, teaching, highways mgt, accounting and hydrology. We are supported by a salaried Parish Clerk. If you'd like to learn more about what we do, to apply yourself or to nominate someone, please email me at chair@shiplakepc.com Chris Penrose, Chair Shiplake PC. We look forward to hearing from you.

Please email me: chair@shiplakepc.com if you'd like to find out more about becoming a parish councillor. It's a great way to give back to your community and shape the future of Shiplake's villages. There are entry forms to complete via clerk@shiplakepc.com if you'd like to be included in the elections in May. They need to be completed by April 4th and handed in directly to SODC (or better still return to the clerk before the Monday March 13th PC meeting and he will hand them in on your behalf)
