Littering in The Thames

This afternnon around 6 pm we noticed a group 6 or 7 teenage lads from our boat sitting on the river bank at Shiplake who were throwing their litter into the Thames.  We asked them to stop it and got the typical tirade of abusive language.

The lads were then spotted by us on Mill Road before going off into various directions presuambly to their homes in the village. 

So if you are the parent of a teenage boy who has been to the riverbank this afternoon with their mates and arrived home around 6.45pm with their NIKE back packs on you might want to have a word!

Yes I think you are right Carol although yesterday some headed off up New Road and the others seemed to go off in various directions.
