Former Wyevale Site

This is just to let residents know that TFAG has now received a draft report from its Engineers regarding the current Applications to discharge Planning Conditions attaching to the redevelopment of this site.

One of the things highlighted by this exercise is the apparent failure once again by the EA to comment on the implcations of this development on the underground Aquifers. These and the adjacent ground has a special protection designation of SPZ1 (Sourve Protection Zone Grade 1) in Planning and Development terms, given their importance for local drinking water.

I have today written to the EA asking them to explain why they have not provided any meaningful comment in respect of this application and the earlier outline applications.

Watch this space!
