Station Road Repairs...at last!

 

Many, many thanks to Joanne Stone and Ann Manning, the parish council's 2 Super Users of 'Fix my Street', for  making this happen! David Bartholomew has also lobbied strongly for the works to be undertaken.

See below the details of the temporary closure and restrictions which have been posted on the village website home page. They are planned for:

 

LOCATION: Lower Shiplake, Station Road
REASON: Carriageway surface and patching works
DURATION: Starting on 27 August 2024
The anticipated completion date is 28 August 2024
(each day from 09:30hrs to 15:30hrs)

Note: An ancilliary notification from OCC Highways suggests the work will/may be undertaken on 23/08/2024 (from 09:30hrs to 15:30hrs)?? Clarification is being sought. Whatever dates the works are completed on in August, they will be appreciated.
