Lashbrook House Redevelopment

Bondcare have submitted plans to demolish and redevelop Lashbrook House. In addition to the upset and distress of the residents, and the loss of a peaceful and quiet care home, there are concerns that the plans for the new home are predicable that it is massively enlarged both in foot print and height(to 3 stories). The home will increase from 30-80+residends. This will cause massive traffic during development, and a very big increase in traffic from staff, services and relatives along a totally unsuitable road and narrow bridge. Concerns about flood risk are also raised.

The plans are visible on the SODC ref demolition and rebuild of Lashbrook nursing home P24/S2954/FUL comments by 9th Nov, if you wish to comment.
