Thames Farm - And Again!

Just to let everyone know if they have not already received notification from SODC, but Taylor Wimpey have submitted a raft of new documents and information by way of amendments to the 3 Planning Applications that await determination by SODC.

TFAG is reviewing this information and seeking advice from its consultants as in previous cases. The date given for responses to the Applications is 4 February, which given receipt of the notifications last night, will be an impossible task, as the volume of information is huge. Further information to follow when we have a better understanding of matters. The Applications are here:

Planning Application P24/S2642/FUL

Planning Application P24/S2651/DIS

Planning Application P24/S2652/S73

Can I just check - have I missed the usual guidance as to the key levers to use when commenting on these incessant appeals? The arguments I suspect are now mostly technical so need expert input from you guys......

The time window to submit representations to these 3 Applications has now been extended to 27 February. TFAG and the local Councils have commissioned reviews/critiques of the latest information by our engineers, and their feedback is due 12 February at which time we will update the villages and recommend actions. Thank you all for your support. Peter @ TFAG

Rhiannon, It’s a period of time set by statutory regulations, but can be extended. We have put SODC on notice that the time slot is too short and on the whole they adopt an approach of considering anything submitted up until the day before the date a decision is actually taken. However that approach is not set in stone and could be changed at any time without warning. Hope that helps!

Thank you - I did get those emails last night too. Out of interest why is the notice period so short (other than to make it difficult for anyone to read and assimilate a response in time)?
