Westfield Crescent, dangerous driving

Very recently a car drove into Westfield Crescent, garage end, at such a high speed that I thought it was going to hit a neighbour's cat who sits in the road, fortunately the cat jumped out of the way.  Yesterday morning a different neighbours cat was found dead, run over, outside the garages.  I don't know why people are driving at high speed into such a congested crescent and then braking heavily at the turn but it's pointless.  There are many vulnerable off lead dogs, walkers and cats in the vicinity of the junction of Westfield Crescent and New Road.
