Merry Christmas! (Too soon )

 

But at the very least Happy Autumn. It is our favourite menu of the year at The Plough Shiplake, and we couldn’t be prouder of Chef Kaine’s latest menu. French onion soup, artichoke risotto, confit rabbit leg and pan-fried salmon are amongst our favourites.

 

- FREE Hundred Hills Sparkling Wine for all private dining room bookings in November. No room hire or minimum spend we just ask for at least 10 guests and that your pre-order is subitted 5 days before your event. (hello@bigbettyfoodco.com)

- PUB QUIZ Wednesday 18 November from 7:30pm: Join Shiplake College Housemaster, Marcus Milburn, for four exciting rounds. Spot prizes from Henley Distillery and £50 voucher for winning team. Email jill@bigbettyfoodcoc.com to book.

- SET MENU from Wednesday 11 November; Two courses for £25 and three for £32 available lunch time Wednesday to Friday and dinner on Wednesday and Thursday.

- CHRISTMAS COMMUNITY TABLE Thursday 17 December from 12:30pm: Whether on your own or with a friend, join us for a fun & delicious lunch time Christmas party. £35 for 2 courses or 3 for £42 courses, including welcome glass of prosecco and tea or coffee to finish.

- CHRISTMAS at THE PLOUGH whether you’re looking for the perfect Christmas party or something special for Christmas Day, The Plough Shiplake makes every Christmas even truly magical.

- PLOUGH BOOK CLUB Thursday 21 January from 6:30pm: Join us for dinner and wine followed by a great conversation “The Things We Never Say” by Elizabeth Strout and “My Friends” by Fredik Backman. £25 for 2 courses & glass of house wine. To book email jill@bigbettyfoodco.com
