Pothole Station Road

I'm assuming the powers that be in Shiplake are aware of the enormous pothole on Station Road outside Maybury House?  If not who should I contact?  I'm sure I read that there are a couple of nominated people in charge of this??  Sorry for my ignorance!

Repairs appear to be good and completed in a reasonably timely manner, once reported via Fix My Street and helped along I think by David Bartholomew's clarification to OCC of seriousness of the situation...

A little late for me! Just sank into the hole and ripped a very costly tyre and probably wrote off the alloy wheel. The hole is very deep with sharp edges. Next to impossible to avoid at night. Charly sampson

HI Chris & Debbie, report the pothole to Oxfordshire Highways Dept. They have always responded very promptly to my reports. Many people think-not you- it is someone else's responsibility or highway's responsibility to come round and check the roads. How much would that increase our Council Tax by for every mile of every road in Oxfordshire to be checked every day? If the public don't tell them they don't know. More people should be like you and inquire how to do it.
